VPN (Virtual Private Network)

A VPN is a service that creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and a VPN server, then routes your internet traffic through that server. Remember that privacy is layered—pair VPN use with browser hygiene (separate profiles, limited extensions, and updated software). For business users, clear policy and least-privilege access reduce risk more than ‘always route everything everywhere.’ For most people, the biggest privacy win is shielding activity from local network observers and reducing ISP-level profiling. VPN Surf and Elite VPN guidance aims to keep the concept actionable, not just theoretical.
